Vice Chairman BRISD Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz and Ghulam Qadir Discuss Strengthening China-Pakistan Trade and Investment Cooperation

Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz, President of the China Pakistan Medical Association (CPMA), recently held a productive meeting with Commercial Counsellor Ghulam Qadir to discuss vital aspects of China-Pakistan trade and investment cooperation. The discussions centered on enhancing bilateral ties in key sectors, including energy, health, agriculture, and investment facilitation through the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

Dr. Shahbaz emphasized the significance of promoting Pakistan’s government policies aimed at attracting Chinese investors, highlighting the creation of a business-friendly environment and streamlined regulatory processes. Both leaders agreed on the importance of collaborative initiatives to strengthen trade relations, improve energy infrastructure, and enhance agricultural productivity. They also discussed strategies for addressing mutual health challenges between the two nations.
