The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the flagship project of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), has already transformed Pakistan’s infrastructure and energy sectors. Now, as both nations enter CPEC Phase 2, the focus will shift towards industrialization, technology transfer, digital economy, renewable energy, and socio-economic development—bringing lasting benefits to the people of Pakistan and China.
Qaiser Nawab emphasized that President Zardari’s visit is a reaffirmation of Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to regional connectivity, sustainable development, and economic integration under the BRI framework. “This visit will further deepen trade, investment, and strategic partnerships, ensuring that Pakistan and China continue to lead the way in shaping a more interconnected and prosperous world,” he stated.
